As an Art Director will be responsible for leading the visual and creative direction of projects, ensuring that the design elements align with the brand identity and strategic objectives. Working closely with creative teams, clients, and stakeholders, the Art Director develops visual concepts for campaigns, advertisements, websites, and other media. This role requires a combination of artistic vision, leadership, and project management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality creative output.
- Participate in brainstorming and creating concepts for best-in-class digital ideas.
- Contribute to the creative concepts by providing innovative ideas that can be executed but which push at the boundaries of what is possible.
- The ability to quickly grasp the fundamentals of a brief and to generate worthy ideas.
- Work with project teams to create design prototypes/concept models in tandem with wireframes.
- Manage, develop and coordinate the creation of visual mockups.
- Ability to translate findings/concepts into simple and elegant user interface solutions.
- Be comfortable with a human-centric approach and able to incorporate customer insights and user-centered design principles throughout the creative process.
- Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
- Train and guide subordinates into accomplished professionals.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters and account managers to ensure creative alignment and brand consistency across all platforms.
- Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to ensure creative output remains fresh and competitive.
- Oversee the creative process from concept through execution, ensuring high standards of visual storytelling and design quality are maintained at all stages.
- 10+ years of proven work experience in creative direction in agency or corporate setting, creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time and budget.
- Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print.
- Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- A solid understanding of design, copy, and web practices.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
