As the Senior HR Generalist, you will be the foundational pillar of our Human Resources department, owning and executing all HR functions across the agency. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted advocate for our employees. From sourcing top-tier creative talent to managing benefits, payroll, and employee relations, you will ensure our workplace remains compliant, engaging, and supportive of our business goals.

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles (creatives, account managers, digital marketers, etc.), from drafting job descriptions to extending offers.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse, top-tier talent in the marketing industry.
  • Design and oversee a seamless onboarding and orientation process that integrates new hires into the Awstreams culture and sets them up for success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns, and HR-related issues.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts with empathy, fairness, and strict confidentiality.
  • Spearhead employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and wellness programs to maintain high morale and a positive agency culture.
  • Partner with department heads to implement, monitor, and optimize the agency’s performance review cycles.

  • Assist in managing underperformance through structured performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.

  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Gusto, or Odoo) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
