The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and motivated junior accountant who is eager to build a solid finance career in a digital agency setting. You will support the day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist in processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Help manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents.
- Prepare basic financial summaries and support month-end closings.
- Track and update accounts payable and receivable records.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment statuses.
- Support audit preparation and financial data collection.
- Provide general admin and finance team support as needed.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with accounting software (like Odoo or QuickBooks).
- Basic understanding of tax regulations in Egypt
- Good English writing/reporting skills.
